The base is supposedly warp-proof, but some people have noticed the griddle slowly caving in over extended use. I didn’t have this problem and I used it for about three weeks straight, so if it were to happen it would be down the road.

As long as you only touch the handles while the griddle is hot, you will be fine. Don’t make the mistake of touching a hot griddle, you’ll surely regret it.
